How sustainable is your packaging?

At Seboni, we hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to sustainability. Here are the details regarding our packaging:

Our shipping boxes are: FSC certified and made from 100% recycled materials. Our shipping boxes are fully home compostable and recyclable.

Our shipping labels are: Printed on unbleached, tree-free sugarcane paper. These labels and their components are fully home compostable and recyclable.

Our packing tape is: Made from fiberglass reinforced kraft paper. This tape is fully recyclable.

Our shredded packing material is: Made from scrap paper that would have been waste. We decided to extend the life of these materials and reuse them to protect our products during transit. Our packing material can be reused by the recipient!

Our seeded soap bands are: Made from 100% post-consumer waste and are naturally biodegradable. You can plant these bands to grow wildflowers!

Our sugar scrub jars are: Made from FSC certified paper (which contains recycled content) and an inner vegetable lining to oil-proof the jar. These jars are fully home compostable and recyclable.

Our lip balm tubes are: Made from FSC certified paper (which contains recycled content) and an inner vegetable lining to oil-proof the tube. These tubes are fully home compostable and recyclable.

How sustainable are your products and their ingredients?

At Seboni, we hold ourselves to the highest standards when it comes to sustainability. Here are the details regarding our products and their ingredients:

Our products are: Made from natural ingredients such as oils, fats, and sugars - all of which are home compostable. Some products may contain preservatives and/or emulsifiers, which are readily biodegradable.

Our mica powder is: Ethically sourced, vegan, and cruelty-free. Mica powder is a naturally occurring mineral to add color to some of our products. While minerals like mica are not biodegradable, they are environmentally safe and will not pose any harm to your garden should you choose to compost a product containing it!

Our Scents: Currently, we source our fragrances from a third party supplier. The exact ingredients of any fragrance are considered a ‘Trade Secret’ under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act of 1966. As a result, we cannot be certain that the fragrances we use are 100% biodegradable, although we do our due diligence to only source our fragrances from trusted, environmentally conscious providers. As our company grows, we plan to create our own natural, biodegradable scents to eliminate any uncertainty about this ingredient.
